Tuesday the Kenton grapplers wrestled in a Duals style Tournament at River Valley in Marion County. The first round match up was a 57-18 loss vs Jonathon Alder. Earning points for the Cats were JJ Manns and Evan Elliott via first round pin. Luke Hensel garnered 6 points by forfeit.
In the consolation round, Kenton won four of the six contested matches but came up short to the larger group from Madison Comprehensive 39-30. The Rams were helped with 30 points of forfeits. The Wildcat squad was led with pins by Mathew Handell, Klayton Schlegel, JJ Manns and Evan Elliott. Aiden Ritchie got the win via forfeit. Karson Davis lost 2 close decisions on the day.
